These countries have been at the top of my list and I've finally been able to visit them within 1 trip! Amsterdam, the Netherlands was a 45 minute flight from the UK and we found some cheap tickets using skyscanner (an app to find the cheapest flights to wherever you want to go). This hole trip was only 2 days long for us on a student budget but you can definitely make it longer. We spent the day in Amsterdam walking around and did a trip to the near by tulip fields. The city was amazing with it including museums, art galleries, beautiful canals and as many shops as your heart desires !
We then took the Eurostar train to Brussels, Belgium that took just under 2 hours and stayed in a hotel for night. The next day we spent looking round the city visiting Friterie which i definetly recommend trying as they are some amazing Belgium authentic fries, he even gave us 2 cones when we only paid for one ! We visited some monuments like mannekin pis and the cathedrals. We ended the day with some Belgium waffles from Mason Dandoy. And that night we took a flight back to the uk.
The trip is a must do and such an easy way to get the most and see the most out of just 1 trip.
